The Town of Arlington will be conducting a 2018 Special Census and needs your help to ensure we get the most accurate count of our residents.
The US Government performs a federal census every 10 years; however, the Town is also permitted to conduct a Special Census in the years between. Since state revenue is based on population, growing cities can go through this process to get a larger percentage of state revenue to meet the needs of their growing community.
Based on recent building permit data, we anticipate that Arlington's population may now exceed 13,500 residents. This could result in Town receiving an additional $180,000 per year of state revenue.
