Library Calendar of Events

We have special programs and events each month at the Library. Our monthly calendars help keep you informed (links in blue buttons to download). Check our new calendar each month OR check out our Library Facebook Page.

Programs occur Monday-Thursday, and on Saturdays. The Library is closed on Fridays & Sundays.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

For ages 0-5

It's never too early to start reading! Register your baby or toddler for the 1,000 Books Challenge on ReadSquared. This program is designed to help children read 1,000 books before they enter Kindergarten and encourage life-long reading habits. Once you've earned enough points, you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

On My Own: Teen Finance Simulation

Wednesday, April 2nd at 4:00 - 6:00 pm (at the Safe Room)

"On My Own" is a hands-on, real-life budgeting simulation that gives young people the opportunity to experience adulthood in a fun and exciting way.

Children's Programs

Preschool Storytime!

10:30 am on Tuesdays at the Library

LA HORA DE CUENTOS

Every Tuesday we enjoy stories, songs, counting, dancing, and a great way for parent interaction with your little one.

The program is designed to build early language & literacy foundations in toddlers and pre-school children ages 5 and under.

Builder's Club!

Now on Thursdays at 4:00 pm at the Library

Builder's Club is back! Join us on Thursdays for LEGO challenges and free-build time

Ages 5 and under must be supervised.

Chess Club Mondays!

Mondays 5-6:30 pm & Wednesdays 4-5:30 pm

Join all ages & levels of experience for a game of strategy and problem solving. You're invited to learn and master the art of chess. No registration necessary.

* Students under 12 must be signed in and accompanied by parent or designated adult while in the library. We require the parent/responsible person to remain onsite throughout the program. There is seating available on the patio (weather permitting) or you may stay in your vehicle in the parking lot. Please see staff if another arrangement needs to be made.

Chess Club is on Mondays from 5:00-6:30 and Wednesdays from 4:00-5:30. For all ages.

S.T.E.M. Thursdays!

STEM 4:30 pm - on Thursdays

Your local library is the place that offers exploration and discovery: S.T.E.M.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math - with projects chosen to engage children. (ages 5+)

Free to all explorers recommended ages 5+. No registration required.

Homeschool Hangout

April 2nd at 10:30 am (at the library)

Join us to make connections with other homeschool families!

Books & Barks

Every 4th Saturday at 10:30

Do you have a reluctant reader? Reading aloud to a therapy dog can boost confidence and they're the best audience! Sign up for one-on-one reading time with a library pup.

Book Club for Adults

This book chat is for all adult ages to share about our current book selection, what you're currently reading, or what you've read.

We encourage sharing all reviews and suggestions for other members of the group. Great way to reconnect, meet people, make new friends, and add great book ideas to your reading list.

Join us on the 2nd Saturday of each month for the Kids ZONE DIY Craft Day.

Take & Make craft kits will be available, while supply lasts.

All instructions and supplies will be included and kits will be labeled for any additional glue, tape, etc. will be needed.
