Board of Zoning Appeals

The Arlington Board of Zoning Appeals is a 5-member board which is responsible for the review of Variances from the Municipal Zoning Ordinance and Conditional Use Permits. The Board of Zoning Appeals meets on an "as needed" basis at Arlington Town Hall (5854 Airline Road).

It is the responsibility of the Board of Zoning Appeals to hear an applicant's grievance and decide if a general hardship exists to justify any requested Variances. Conditional Use Permits are considered after a recommendation is received from the Planning Commission and based on their adherence to Town Code.
