Beginning today, May 4, 2020 the Town of Arlington will be enforcing the Town's food truck ordinance once again. Enforcement was relaxed during the Safer At Home order, as many local restaurants were closed and only able to provide service at limited capacity.
In short, the ordinance states that food trucks are only allowed to operate on Town of Arlington property in coordination with special events, and with a permit. Food trucks can be hosted on private property only if they are catering an event, and the payment for all food is coming from the event host (example: You hire Pronto Pup to cater a birthday party at your home using their food truck and you are paying for all of the food).
