Mayor Mike Wissman has issued and updated Declaration of State of Emergency.
The duration of this state of emergency commenced on March 20, 2020 and initially continued until March 27, 2020, thereafter extended until June 12, 2020. Given the ongoing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic it is necessary to extend the state of emergency for an additional seven (7) days as pemitted by Tennessee law. Accordingly, this state of emergency is hereby renewed until June 19, 2020 unless otherwise extended.
