Over the last few weeks, we have been dealing with a series of vandalism and theft incidents in several of our parks. Damages have included vulgar language and pictures spray painted on playground surfaces, overturned trash cans, theft of a plaque from a memorial bench placed at the lake property, as well as theft of goods from a freezer outside the concession stand. Shelby County Sheriff's Office has been notified and is currently investigating.
We are asking for your help. Our parks are an important and valuable resource to our Town, utilized by hundreds of residents per day.
