“The APTA regretfully will cancel Arlington in April. We feel it will be irresponsible to plan an event considering the current health threat posed by the virus. Also the need to cancel now will help defray some of the cost to us and our vendors as they invest money into inventory for the day. Our prayer is the self-quarantine and added safety measures will have this behind us by the end of April. For the next two weeks we will be busy contacting vendors, volunteers and performers. Please know we did not come to the decision lightly as we have been preparing for months.”
• The Town of Arlington will also be following newly released CDC recommendations and not approving special events with projected attendance of 50 or more people until further notice.
