The duration of this state of emergency commenced on March 20, 2020 and intially continued on March 27, 2020, thereafter extended until May 22, 2020. Given the ongoing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic it is necessary to extend the state of emergency for an additional seven (7) days as permitted by Tennessee law. Accordingly, this state of emergency is hereby renewed until May 29, 2020 unless otherwise extended.
