Step it Up Arlington

A Partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association

Adults of ALL ages are welcome to join us for a FREE Community Walking Program! This program is for both beginner and experienced fitness levels. Our goal is to foster connections through better health to help our community thrive!

What you need to know:

  • No membership Required - we want all adults to participate, not just seniors.

  • When: several 6-week courses will meet on Mon., Wed., & Fri.

  • Where: we'll meet at the Crossing Amphitheater in Forrest St. Park.

  • Flexible times: You can choose morning or evening group (8:30AM or 6:00PM).

  • Set your own pace: you can choose how far and how long you want to walk. We will partner up - so no one has to walk alone.

  • Educational: along with warm-ups, cool-downs, and stretches, we'll add in educational content from Walk with Ease.

  • Stay connected: If you can't make all 3 days each week - we'll keep in touch to encourage your goals.
