Health & Safety

The Arlington Health & Safety Committee aims to create and maintain a safe and healthy community environment, as well as provide support to the Fire Department. The focus of the committee is to find ways to reduce health and safety hazards while advising the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, the Fire Department, and Public Works Department on issues related to health and safety concerns.

The Committee also serves the Fire Department when making budget decisions, prioritizing departmental needs, gathering information and locating financial support. The Health & Safety Committee meets at 5:30pm on the fourth Tuesday of the month, as needed, at Arlington Fire Station #2 (12364 Donelson Road).
