The Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury is responsible for approving all Municipal Budgets, Budget Amendments, and Audit Reports. They are also charged with approving all debt to be issued by Municipalities.

The annual budget for the Town of Arlington for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 can be found below. This budget went before the BMA for first reading on May 2nd, 2022, and a Second and Final Reading on June 6th, 2022 during the BMA meeting.  In January 2023, the Town was awarded the GFOA's Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for this budget document, a first for Arlington and a significant achievement. 

The annual budget presentation for the Town for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 is provided below. After a public hearing on June 5, 2023 at the Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting, the budget was adopted.
