Elementary Book Chat - NEW

Children will get to select titles from the book list and join Mrs. Lisa Wednesday's throughout the summer. 
Students can share what they liked and didn't like about the book. Not everyone will be reading the same book at the same
time. The reviews they share will help others to decide if they would like to add it to their own reading list. Read more here.

Tuesday Storytime
Returns to the Arlington Safe Room - June 21, 2022

July 2022

Join us weekly for Storytime at 10:30 at the Arlington Safe Room 
Every Tuesday we enjoy stories, songs, counting, dancing, and a great way for parent interaction with your little one. This program is designed to build early language and literacy foundations in toddlers and pre-school age children. Storytime + Craft Day is held the 4th Tuesday (October-May) and is designed especially with the developmental tasks of toddlers in mind. Kits will be available during the summer.

Bedtime Storytime, Read with Me Storytime, and Tiny Tots Lapsit,

Bedtime Storytime
Mondays at 7:00 PM 
Read With Me
 Storytime is every Wednesday at 10:30 that provides a closer interaction for enjoying the stories. Some weeks we have great special guest readers. Be sure to watch and read along!
Tune in June and July and meet our special community leaders and partners!

Tiny Tots Lapsit Storytime held Thursdays at 10:30. This program is designed for ages 0 - 2 and is a time to bond with your child as he/she sits in your lap and encourages early development in language and learning skills through songs, rhymes, tickles, bounces, and books. Ask library staff about a Tiny Tots Storytime kit.
Saturday Family Storytime held the first Saturday each month at 10:30. Join Mrs. Lisa for a family good time of reading great books and singing fun songs.
All Virtual Storytimes are scheduled weekly on the Library Facebook page.
Tune in Live weekly, but if you can't meet with us live, no worries all sessions are recorded and post immediately after each event.

Knitting Club  
Tuesdays & Saturdays at the Library

Our weekly knitting club takes place from 10 AM - 12 PM on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 2 PM.
New to knitting? No problem! All levels of experience and all ages are welcome to join us at the Sam T. Wilson Library as we learn the art of knitting.
All library programs are free and open to the public. More info.  


Chess Club

 2nd Saturday Monthly at 11:00 at the Library  

Join individuals of all ages and levels of experience for a game of strategy and problem solving.
You are invited to learn and master the art of chess. No registration necessary.

Take & Make craft kits will be available, while supply lasts.
All supplies will be included and kits will be labeled for any additional glue, tape, etc. will be needed. 
 Masterminds Tween & Teen Book Club
