The Town Recorder's office is the focal point of city employment and employee development.  Arlington currently employs 66 full-time and 2 part-time employees.  Applications for all positions are accepted at any time and are kept on file at Town Hall for six months. The Recorder administers the Town's insurance and retirement plan, workers' compensation and safety programs, compensation plan, and personnel policy.

Fleet and Small Engine Technician

The Town of Arlington is seeking a motivated individual for a full-time position at Public Works. Applicants shall have verbal, listening, effective time management skills, an ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks. Applicant must have a High School Diploma or GED, Certification in Automotive or Small Engine Technology preferred but not required and two (2) years of proven experience in mechanic’s work. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Competitive salary based on knowledge and experience, with excellent benefits and ability to grow.
