Finance

Finance services is located within the Administration Dept. at Town Hall and is managed by the Town Recorder/Treasurer. This office is responsible for overseeing all of the Town's fiscal affairs. Finance supports the operating divisions of the Town through accounting, administrative services, and financial reporting. The office manages all Town investments, handles capital project financing, collects town revenues, performs inventory and fixed asset control services, and administers Town budgeting. (Billing and collection of revenues for Town sewer, stormwater, and sanitation services is handled through monthly MLGW utility billing)  An independent firm selected by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen audits the financial records annually.
