No. Arlington does not have it's own police department.  The Shelby County Sheriff's Office proudly serves as the Town of Arlington law enforcement agency.  An SCSO Substation is located in the center of Arlington, at 11670 Memphis-Arlington Road. 

Yes. The Arlington SAFE ROOM is located at: 11842 Otto Lane (beside Arlington Elementary School).

The Shelby County Rabies/Animal Control Program is responsible for the enforcement of County ordinances and State Laws pertaining to domestic animals. These regulations include licensing and vaccination, as well as “loose animal(s)”, vicious animals, animal cruelty and nuisance provisions. 

Their number is (901) 222-9715, and they are open Monday-Friday from 7am-4:30pm. 

Rabies Control does not service requests involving wildlife, including snakes, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, rats or birds.
