Our bodies were meant to move and they actually crave exercise. Regular exercise is necessary for physical fitness and good health. Exercise plays a critical role in promoting healthy aging and in the management of chronic illness. We offer exercise classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 AM. Check our calendar for the different types of exercise we offer each day of the week.
It is important to stay up to date on topics that affect you in these ever - changing times. We offer "Lunch and Learn" programs in health, safety, technology, and art. Each month there is a new engaging and informative speaker. We have had speakers from Arlington Physical Therapy, Baptist, Methodist, St. Francis Bartlett and more! Wii games are entertaining and easy to learn. It is a great way to elevate your mood and stay active as you can play standing or sitting. Stop by to play or simple watch the fun unfold! This event takes place on certain Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. Please check our calendar for the dates.
Join us on Tuesdays beginning at 12:00 p.m. and listen to the songs you grew up with. For those of you who like to dance, there will be plenty of great songs to dance to.
Monthly Monday Book Club
Be inspired with this friendly group! It is a relaxed environment and we enjoy discussing a variety of genres. Our discussions are led by the wonderful Sam T. Wilson librarian, Christine Conwell.
