Part Time Seasonal Workers
The Town of Arlington is seeking a total of six (6) seasonal workers - four (4) for Parks and Recreation and two (2) for Public Works - to assist in the maintenance of athletic fields, parks, and Town facilities. Will work approximately 20 - 25 hours per week from May 31st - September 1st. 
Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.

Recreation Worker

Fire Chief

The Town of Arlington is seeking a motivated and committed fire professional to serve as the Town’s Fire Chief. Under the direction and supervision of the Town Administrator, the Chief plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the firefighting, prevention, safety, EMS, inspection, and fire service activities for the Town of Arlington.   Must have the ability to supervise, manage, direct, coordinate and affect confidence in fire department personnel. The Chief will also support community education efforts and represent the department on a local and regional basis. The Town of Arlington Fire Department provides fire suppression, rescue, EMS, prevention, and inspections; is staffed with 16 full-time employees and a volunteer program, responding from one (1) station. The department currently holds a Class 3 ISO rating. Requirements include four (4) years of college with course concentration in Fire Science, Public Administration, Business Management, or closely related field; Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician or higher, and Executive Fire Officer (EFO) graduate from the National Fire Academy, preferred; fifteen years of fire service experience with eight (8) years of progressively responsible administration and supervisory experience in fire service, EMS and life safety emergency response work, Community Risk Reduction, or equivalent experience. Salary range begins at $60,000 and tops at $90,000.
