The Town Recorder's office is the focal point of city employment and employee development.  Arlington currently employs 49 full-time and 5 part-time employees.  Applications for all positions are accepted at any time and are kept on file at Town Hall for six months. The Recorder administers the Town's insurance and retirement plan, workers' compensation and safety programs, compensation plan, and personnel policy.

Facilities Maintenance Tech

The Town of Arlington is seeking a highly motivated individual for a full-time position at Public Works. Applicants shall have excellent verbal, written, and listening skills, as well as effective time management skills and an ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks. This position will perform maintenance and repairs to Town buildings, Facilities, and properties including but not limited to carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, drywall repair, painting and preventative maintenance tasks; oversees and evaluates the work of contractors. Applicant must have a High School Diploma or GED supplemented by 5 years previous experience and/or training involving Facility Maintenance. Any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. The Town of Arlington is an EOE.
